Sophie then opens his first lesson with a water safety certification, which every staffer must pass. He asks who signs off on him, and she says she does, personally. The training gear she dismisses as useless, and she tells him to lie down as her patient. What follows is a coaching voice about steady pressure and keeping a rhythm, describing how to seal a mouth over another and breathe in slowly.

He asks whether any of this is club policy, and she says she may simply prefer him lying down. Then comes the line that changes the temperature: she can feel how hard he is for her, and she has a real lesson to give him. The final cues are a pleased murmur and an appraisal that she is a lucky woman.
