Candy AI Token Calculator: Cheapest Plan for Your Series
The Candy AI token calculator turns a series, or any token total you type, into months of the 100-token Premium allowance and names the cheapest of the three plans: monthly up to 200 tokens, quarterly at 201 to 300, annual beyond that.
How does the Candy AI token calculator work?
The Candy AI token calculator takes a token total, divides it by the 100 tokens Premium hands out each month, rounds up to whole months and prices those months on every plan. You feed it in one of two ways: choose a public series from the menu, or type a number into the token box.
Choosing a series fills in its tokens to finish: the locked episodes (everything after the free pair) times 12 tokens, or times 30 where a licensed creator twin stars in a public series. Typing a number skips the series and prices the raw tokens, which is what you want when you are planning a binge of several shorts. Picking one input clears the other.
The answer is a one-line summary plus a three-row table, one row per plan, with the cheapest row marked. The whole calculation runs in your browser from plan prices stored in the page, and the prices come from candy.ai/subscriptions, which we checked on October 25, 2026 (US view). Spicy series are not in the menu, since a visitor without Premium cannot read how many episodes they run or what each one costs.
How does the calculator turn tokens into a price?
Months equal tokens divided by 100, rounded up, and each plan is then charged for as many billing periods as it takes to cover those months. The three plans follow different rules.
- Annual: $47.88 for each block of 12 months (a monthly equivalent of $3.99, paid as one charge).
- Quarterly: $26.97 for each block of 3 months ($8.99 a month, billed every three months).
- Monthly: $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99 for every further month.
Premium includes 100 tokens a month, and yearly subscribers receive them monthly too, per the help center (checked October 22, 2026). That monthly allowance is the only token source the calculator counts. A 250-token total, for example, means three months, whatever plan you buy.
Which Candy AI plan is cheapest for how many tokens?
Monthly wins for totals up to 200 tokens, quarterly wins only for 201 to 300, and annual is cheapest from 301 upward, all the way to a full year of allowance. The table shows where each plan comes out ahead at the prices checked on October 25, 2026.
| Tokens needed | Months of allowance | Cheapest plan | Cost | Next best |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 to 100 | 1 | Monthly | $9.99 | Quarterly, $26.97 |
| 101 to 200 | 2 | Monthly | $23.98 | Quarterly, $26.97 |
| 201 to 300 | 3 | Quarterly | $26.97 | Monthly, $37.97 |
| 301 to 400 | 4 | Annual | $47.88 | Monthly, $51.96 |
| 401 to 600 | 5 to 6 | Annual | $47.88 | Quarterly, $53.94 |
| 601 to 1,200 | 7 to 12 | Annual | $47.88 | Quarterly, $80.91 to $107.88 |
Two things stand out. The monthly plan’s opening price makes it a bargain exactly when you need one or two months, and the annual plan costs the same $47.88 whether you use a 301-token total or the full 1,200. Past a year the pattern repeats, with a second annual block bringing the total to $95.76.
What do real series cost on each plan?
A typical five-episode series needs 36 tokens and costs $9.99 on the monthly plan’s first month, while the longest series we cover needs 336 tokens and costs $47.88 on the annual plan. These worked examples use the same maths as the tool.
| What you want to watch | Tokens | Months | Cheapest |
|---|---|---|---|
| One five-episode standard series (3 locked episodes at 12) | 36 | 1 | Monthly, $9.99 |
| Two such series | 72 | 1 | Monthly, $9.99 |
| One five-episode creator-twin series (3 locked at 30) | 90 | 1 | Monthly, $9.99 |
| Three standard series | 108 | 2 | Monthly, $23.98 |
| Caught Between Sisters, 15 episodes (13 locked) | 156 | 2 | Monthly, $23.98 |
| Seven standard series | 252 | 3 | Quarterly, $26.97 |
| Yes Ma’am, 30 episodes (28 locked) | 336 | 4 | Annual, $47.88 |
One Premium month therefore covers two standard five-episode series with room to spare, or one creator-twin series with a handful of tokens left. A third standard series tips you into month two. For a ranked view of the cheapest runs, the cheapest to finish chart sorts the whole catalog by this same total.
Do I get all the tokens at once on the annual plan?
No, the annual plan still pays out 100 tokens a month, on the day you subscribed, so the $47.88 total is the cheapest route but not the fastest one. To spend 336 tokens on Yes Ma’am you would wait for the fourth monthly drop.
If you want to finish tonight, the calculator’s cheapest answer is the wrong answer. Two faster routes exist, and neither can be priced here: top-up token packs, bought on the tokens page of candy.ai, a page that redirects anyone who is not signed in, so no pack price is visible (see the help article on running out of tokens, checked October 22, 2026), and Premium Plus, which carries 330 tokens a month but shows its price only after login (Premium Plus article). Both are worth a look inside your account before you commit.
What does the Candy AI token calculator leave out?
It leaves out taxes, token packs, Premium Plus, Spicy episodes and anything Premium might unlock without tokens. Each gap is a place where the real bill can differ from the table.
- Taxes: the plan page warns that local taxes can come on top, and every total above is before tax.
- Included episodes: per the candyshorts.com legal page (terms revised September 30, 2026), only a capped set of episodes comes bundled with membership, yet candy.ai’s upsell talks about unlocking premium episodes. A logged-out visitor cannot check how many that is, so the calculator assumes every locked episode costs tokens.
- Leftover tokens: Candy AI’s terms of service, clause 10.2 (revised September 22, 2026), let tokens lapse once the paid period after cancellation runs out, whereas a help-center article claims a cancelled account keeps its tokens. We do not plan around leftovers.
- Spicy: a Spicy price cannot be read by a visitor, so no honest number exists.
The NSFW cost guide treats these caveats in more depth, and safe to pay covers the refund and billing-statement side.
How do I spend the fewest tokens on a series?
Start with the free pair: those two episodes cost nothing and already show you the level and the vibe. Our NSFW Index is built from them, so the series page will say whether episode 1 or 2 is where it turns explicit.
- Shortlist two or three series with the Swipe Finder or the comparison tool.
- Prefer standard series over creator-twin ones when the price matters: the same five episodes cost 36 tokens against 90.
- Group the series you actually want into one subscription month so the 100-token allowance does the work.
- Check the renewal. Every plan rebills by itself at an unchanged price and length, and you cancel by scrolling to Unsubscribe inside Settings, which lives under My Profile (cancellation article, checked October 22, 2026). There is no pause option.
Refunds are tight under the terms of service: you must ask inside 24 hours of paying, only if you used 20 tokens or fewer, and only for card payments. Do not count on one as a try-before-you-buy plan.
FAQ
How many tokens does it take to finish a Candy AI short?
Take the episode total, subtract the two free episodes, and multiply by 12 tokens (30 for a creator-twin series). A five-episode standard series comes to 36 tokens.
What is the cheapest Candy AI plan to finish one series?
For one standard five-episode series, the monthly plan's first month at $9.99, because 36 tokens fit inside the 100-token monthly allowance. The quarterly plan costs $26.97 and the annual plan $47.88.
When does the annual plan become cheaper than monthly?
From a total of 301 or more, which needs four months of allowance. Four monthly payments cost $51.96 against $47.88 for the year, so annual wins by $4.08.
Can I type my own token amount instead of picking a series?
Yes. Type any whole number into the token box and the calculator prices it the same way. It clears the series menu while you do, and picking a series clears the box.
Does the token calculator include Spicy series?
No. A logged-out visitor can't read a Spicy series' episode total or token price, so there is nothing reliable to calculate. The Spicy guide explains what is and is not visible.
Are the calculator's prices final?
They are the US plan prices we read on October 25, 2026, before local taxes. Candy AI can change them, so treat the result as an estimate and confirm the price at checkout.
Is the first month at $9.99 available to everyone?
The subscriptions page lists it as the first-month price on the monthly plan. Whether it applies to a returning account, we cannot test as a guest.
