Is Candy AI Safe to Pay? Billing, Refunds and Cancelling
EverAI Limited, a Maltese company, owns the service, your statement will say EverAI, and your safeguards are a one-day refund window for cards plus a cancel button.
Is Candy AI safe to pay?
Candy AI is a reasonably safe place to pay if you treat it like any other subscription: a named Maltese company bills you, one fixed name shows on your statement, and the rules for refunds and cancelling are published. What a guest check cannot prove is how well the company guards your data or how quickly support answers.
Here is what that verdict rests on. We read the public pages on October 22, 2026 and went back for prices on October 25, 2026, with no login and no purchase. That is enough to document the operator, the plans, the rules and the wording of the terms. It cannot show the inside of a customer account, so anything that appears only after sign-in stays unverified in this guide.
The picture is mixed in a useful way. The money side is spelled out well enough to plan around. The soft spots are a one-day refund window, refunds for card payments alone, and tokens that behave like store credit and not cash. Still undecided about paying? Start with the free route in our first NSFW episode guide, because the free pair shows you plenty before any charge happens.

What “safe” does and does not cover here
Safe, in this guide, means that the billing arrangement is transparent and that you can predict what will leave your account. It does not mean the content suits you, and it does not mean the company’s servers are unbreakable. For the content side, our Is Candy AI NSFW guide explains what the series show.
Who is behind Candy AI, and who can pay?
The company on the invoice is EverAI Limited, filed in Malta under registry number C107181. Its seat is a business centre in Santa Venera. The newest candy.ai terms we read are dated September 22, 2026, Maltese law governs them, and any dispute would go before Maltese courts.
The candyshorts.com storefront runs on a separate set of terms dated September 30, 2026, issued by the same firm under the same jurisdiction. Checkout there hands off to Candy.ai, so whichever site you start from, the party collecting your money is identical.
Age comes before payment. The candyshorts.com terms ask for users who are 18 or older, while the candy.ai terms ask for the age at which you can legally sign a contract where you live, and the site puts an 18+ gate in front of adult content. This guide, like the rest of the site, is for adults only.
One note about us: this is an independent affiliate site, and if you create an account via one of our links, we may receive a payout. It changes nothing about what the terms say. The disclaimer lays out the arrangement in full.
How can you check the company yourself?
Take the registry number, C107181, and search for it in the Malta Business Registry. Compare the name and address you find with the ones printed in the terms, and check that the terms you are reading sit on candy.ai or candyshorts.com. We have not asked the company any questions, and a registry entry proves that a firm exists, not that its customer service is good.
What is the Candy AI billing name on your statement?
Your statement shows “EverAI”, a name the help center confirms for both checkout pages. It never prints Candy AI, Candy Shorts or the title of a series, so scan for EverAI when you hunt for the charge.
That naming cuts two ways. It lets you match a payment to a date, and it keeps the line neutral. It also means the merchant name alone cannot show what you bought, so keep the confirmation email or a screenshot of your plan in case you ever need to prove the purchase. Your bank may wrap its own text around the name, such as a city or a reference code, and we cannot see how your statement prints it.
We did not check what an Apple Pay or Google Pay receipt displays. If that detail matters to you, make a first payment and read the entry in your wallet app before you commit to a longer plan.
What is the EverAI charge on my statement?
An EverAI charge is money paid to the firm behind both sites. It can be a first subscription payment, a renewal or a token top-up, and the same name covers yearly, quarterly and monthly plans. When one does not ring a bell, dig out the receipt email, find the billing day in your profile and email the support desk before you involve the bank.
Which payment methods does Candy AI accept?
The help center names bank transfer, Google Pay, Apple Pay, crypto and credit or debit cards, with availability depending on where you live. The bank-transfer options go through providers called Volt and Pix, and the same menu serves subscriptions and token purchases.
The US checkout we opened as a guest showed buttons for Apple Pay, Visa and Mastercard. Checkouts in other countries were out of reach, so your screen may offer something different. Do not assume that a method you read about exists in your region.
Your choice also decides how much protection you have. The written refund rules speak only of card purchases, so a crypto or bank-transfer payment sits outside the refund clause as it stands. If you want the safety net, use a card.
- Card: the refund clause applies, and your bank’s dispute process stays open.
- Apple Pay or Google Pay: easy to use and presumably card-backed, but we did not test a refund through them.
- Crypto or bank transfer: no written refund route, so decide with that in mind.
Is crypto a good idea for Candy AI?
It is a defensible choice for privacy, and a poor one for protection. A crypto payment is hard to claw back, and the refund clause covers card purchases only, so you give up the one-day request and your bank’s dispute process in exchange for a different statement trail. If you pay with crypto, treat the purchase as final from the first second.
What does Candy AI payment privacy look like?
Three things are visible to you: a neutral statement name, an emailed receipt and an account attached to your card. The statement name is EverAI, which says nothing about adult content. The receipt and the account link are normal for any subscription.
How the company handles your personal data lives in its own privacy policy, which we have not audited and will not summarize. Read it yourself if that is your main concern. Our own privacy page covers this site only: no cookies of ours, and candy.ai cookies appear only once you click an affiliate link.
A few habits follow from the facts we do have.
- A fixed statement name helps discretion but is not anonymity, because your bank and card issuer still see the merchant.
- Receipts go to the email attached to the account, so use an address only you read.
- The account stays signed in on whichever device you used, so sign out on shared ones.
- A virtual or single-purpose card, if your bank offers one, keeps the charge apart from your main account.
If you pay from a joint account or a family card, that is where the real exposure sits, not in the descriptor. The device side of discretion, including notifications and home-screen icons, is in our phone guide.
What does this site know about your payment?
Nothing. We never see a purchase, a card number or an account name. An affiliate link sets a candy.ai cookie after you click it, and the company, not us, handles everything from checkout onward. That is also why we cannot fix a billing problem for you.
What will Candy AI actually charge you?
What you pay per month shrinks as the commitment grows: a yearly bill works out to $3.99 monthly, quarterly billing to $8.99, and paying month by month to $13.99, with $9.99 for the very first month. Those are the US prices we saw on October 25, 2026. The yearly option collects $47.88 up front, the quarterly one $26.97 per three-month block, and local taxes can add to both.
| Plan | Rate per month | Payment | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 months | $3.99 | $47.88, once a year | The site’s pick for value |
| 3 months | $8.99 | $26.97, every three months | Shown with a 35% discount |
| 1 month | $13.99 | $13.99, monthly | First month $9.99 |
The monthly rate in the headline hides the real commitment, so here is a full year on each plan at today’s prices, taxes left out.
| Plan | Payments in 12 months | Total |
|---|---|---|
| 12 months | One payment | $47.88 |
| 3 months | Four payments of $26.97 | $107.88 |
| 1 month | $9.99, then eleven at $13.99 | $163.88 |
Premium comes with 100 tokens per month, and yearly subscribers receive them monthly too. A higher tier, Premium Plus, grants 330 tokens, but guests see no price for it. To turn tokens into episodes, use the Candy AI NSFW cost guide and the cost calculator.
How does auto-renewal work?
Premium plans re-bill automatically: the price and the term stay exactly as you bought them until you stop the plan, and the checkout fine print says so. A yearly plan takes $47.88 again after twelve months, and a quarterly plan takes $26.97 every third month without a prompt.
The only price that does not repeat is the $9.99 opening month. After it, the monthly plan moves to $13.99. If you took the cheap first month to watch a single series, put a reminder in your phone a few days before the second charge.
Upgrades and downgrades wait for the following billing cycle, and there is no way to pause. You either keep paying or cancel. Cancelling does not cut you off at once, because access continues through the term you have already paid.
| When | What happens | Your move |
|---|---|---|
| Day 0 | You pay $9.99 and receive 100 tokens | Screenshot the confirmation, note the billing day |
| Day 0 to 1 | Refund window is open | Ask now if you want money back, with 20 tokens or fewer used |
| Day 1 to 27 | Access runs normally | Cancel any time to stop the $13.99 renewal |
| Billing day | The plan renews at $13.99 unless cancelled | Reminder three days earlier |
- Write down your billing day when you subscribe.
- Set a reminder three days ahead of it.
- On the reminder day, decide whether to keep the plan, and cancel then if not.
The lowest-risk pattern is to cancel right after subscribing, so the plan never renews while you keep access through the term. That reading comes from the help center, and we have not tried it with a purchase.
How do you cancel a Candy AI subscription?
The cancel button hides under My Profile: open Settings, scroll to the end and tap Unsubscribe. The help center describes that path, and your access carries on through the paid term.
People often confuse cancelling with getting a refund. Unsubscribe only stops the next renewal and returns no money. To ask for money back as well, email the support desk inside that first day and say plainly that you want a refund.
No pause exists, so a break means cancelling and, later, signing up again at whatever price is on offer then. That matters if you grabbed the $3.99 yearly rate, because nothing promises it will still be available when you return.
After you cancel, confirm two things. First, look for a cancellation email. Second, open your profile and check that the plan shows as ending rather than renewing. If it still lists a coming renewal, take a screenshot and write to support.
Can you get a refund from Candy AI?
Only through a narrow gate: the request must land within 24 hours of payment, you must have used at most 20 tokens, and the money must have gone through a card. Those three conditions come from clause 10.4.1 of the candy.ai terms, and a technical problem on your side does not qualify.
| Purchase | Window | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Candy AI subscription | 24 hours | At most 20 tokens spent; card only |
| Candy AI token pack | 24 hours | Tokens untouched; card only |
| First purchase by an EU or UK user | 14 days | First-time buyers may withdraw; a prorated amount is deducted |
| candyshorts.com purchase | 24 hours, discretionary | Nothing streamed; card only; otherwise generally final |
Two details catch people out. Cancelling the plan does not refund it, and a refund needs a message to support within the window, so a request on day two is late. Spending tokens is the other trap: one 30-token twin episode already lifts you past the 20-token ceiling, and so do two 12-token unlocks.
What counts as used tokens?
Used tokens are tokens you have spent, whether on a locked episode or on other paid features. Because the ceiling is only 20 tokens, a single unlock of a 12-token episode leaves you inside it, and a second one pushes you out. Write down your balance before you spend anything, so you can prove how much you used.
If you only want a test drive, the free episodes remove the need to gamble. The first two episodes of any public series cost nothing, require no login and live at candyshorts.com.
What happens to your tokens when you cancel or get a refund?
Two official sources contradict each other about unused tokens after cancelling, so plan to spend them before the paid term ends. Clause 10.2 of the candy.ai terms treats tokens as expiring once your paid period runs out after you cancel. One help article insists they survive cancellation.
We cannot tell you which one wins in practice. Spend what you intend to spend before the term closes, and ask support in writing if you are sitting on a big balance. Do not lean on either source alone.
Other token rules are plainer. There is no gifting, trading or cashing out. The terms describe the Premium allowance as generally 100 a month. A chargeback voids the purchase straight away, access and tokens included.
| Series type | Locked episodes | Price each | Tokens to finish |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 3 | 12 | 36 |
| Twin series | 3 | 30 | 90 |
- A locked episode costs 12 tokens, or 30 in public twin series.
- Finishing a five-episode series takes 36 tokens, or 90 for a twin series.
- Top-up packs live at candy.ai/tokens, a page that bounces guests to the login, so we cannot quote pack prices.
Should you call your bank instead of support?
Write to support first, because a chargeback can leave the dispute in your bank’s hands while your access and tokens vanish. The terms treat a refund or a chargeback as unwinding the purchase immediately, which also removes access and tokens.
A bank is the right call in some situations: a charge you never authorized, payments that keep arriving after a confirmed cancellation, or a support team that stays silent far too long. In those cases, collect your evidence first.
- Screenshots of the plan page and the cancellation confirmation.
- Your emails with the support desk, with dates.
- The statement line showing the EverAI charge.
What to put in the email
A good billing email has five lines: your account email, the date of the charge, the amount, the plan name, and one clear request. Say refund, cancel or explain this charge, not all three. Quote the rule you rely on, such as the 24-hour clause, and attach your screenshots. Keep the thread in one place, so you can forward it to your bank if the support desk stalls.
Card networks run their own dispute rules. This is not legal advice. For ordinary regret, such as watching the free pair and not liking the series, the one-day refund request is the clean option, and it only works when you move fast.
Is paying on candyshorts.com different from paying on candy.ai?
The prices and the company match, but the candyshorts.com storefront follows separate terms and sets a one-week deadline for registering. The three memberships there mirror the Premium plans: the yearly one at $47.88, the quarterly one at $26.97 and the single month at $13.99.
Guests who check out on the storefront must register at Candy.ai afterwards, in about seven days, because otherwise the plan is cancelled and never renews. The page also asks you to verify the account after buying.
Two more quirks are worth knowing. Per the terms, the membership bundles only some episodes, and extra ones are paid with tokens, so it does not unlock everything. And the “70% off” countdown resets on each visit, so it is not a true deadline. Do not buy because a clock is ticking.
Refunds there are rare: the terms treat purchases as final, though staff may grant one at their discretion within a day, provided you streamed nothing. Compare that with the candy.ai rules in the table above before choosing where to pay.
How do you avoid fake payment pages and resold tokens?
Pay only on the two official domains, and never buy tokens, accounts or unlocked episodes from anybody else. The terms make tokens untransferable, so a seller offering them is selling something that should not exist.
The risks cluster in a few places:
- Look-alike sites that copy the checkout and harvest card details.
- “Unlocked” accounts and episode re-uploads, which break the terms and are a classic way to pick up malware.
- Store listings that claim to be the Candy AI app, although the help center states that no native phone app exists.
- Messages promising bonus tokens in exchange for a fee.
We never link to downloads, re-uploads or mods, and you should not click them either. The one free route is the official one: the first two episodes at candyshorts.com. Look at the address bar before typing card digits, and use your own bookmark instead of a link from a message.
For the device side, including how the web app installs on iPhone and Android, read our phone guide.
How do you keep the charge discreet?
Keep the charge on a card or account only you see, and set your own reminders so a renewal never lands in someone else’s inbox. The statement name is neutral, but a $47.88 line is still a visible line.
The practical steps are dull, and they work.
- Use a card whose statements only you read, or a virtual card with a low limit.
- Use an email address that only you check for receipts.
- Remember that quarterly and yearly plans put larger single amounts on a statement, which can draw more attention than a small monthly one.
- Sign out on shared devices and skip the save-your-card prompt in a shared browser.
None of this hides anything from the company, and we cannot promise anonymity. It is ordinary privacy hygiene for an adult subscription, and it costs nothing to do. If you would rather spend the minimum, the cheapest-to-finish chart shows which series need the fewest tokens.
What can go wrong with a Candy AI payment?
Six things go wrong most often, and every one of them is avoidable with a reminder or a screenshot. None involves fraud by the company; they are the gaps between what people assume and what the terms say.
| Surprise | Why it happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A renewal you forgot | Plans re-bill on their own | Reminder before the billing day |
| Refund request refused | Window is 24 hours, tokens capped at 20 | Ask the same day, spend nothing first |
| No refund on a crypto payment | Refund clause covers cards | Pay by card if refunds matter |
| Tokens gone after cancelling | Terms and help center disagree | Spend before the term ends |
| Guest subscription dropped | candyshorts.com wants the account claimed in about a week | Claim the account right away |
| Higher price on return | No pause, no price lock | Check the live price before rejoining |
The pattern is that every surprise comes from timing. Most readers who never pay for anything lose nothing, because the free pair asks for no login. Readers who do pay should treat the first 24 hours as the decision window, as laid out in our cost guide.
What should you do before your first payment?
Do six things first: watch the free pair, pick the cheapest plan that covers your tokens, pay by card, note your billing day, save the confirmation and plan the cancellation. The whole list takes ten minutes and prevents most billing regret.
- Watch episodes 1 and 2 of the series you want. They are free and need no account.
- Work out the tokens you need: 36 for a standard five-episode series, 90 for a twin series. The calculator shows the cheapest plan.
- Pay by card if you can, since the written refund rules cover cards only.
- Write down the billing day and set the reminder ahead of it.
- Screenshot the confirmation and the plan page.
- If you only want one series, cancel on day one and keep access until the term ends.
Then keep the 24-hour rule in your head. You have a day to ask for money back, and you must not have spent more than 20 tokens.
Can you skip paying altogether?
Yes: episodes 1 and 2 of every public series are free to stream with no account, and that is enough to judge a series. On the candy.ai side a visitor can play episode 1, and episode 2 asks for a free sign-up that costs 0 tokens.
For most people the free pair is the real decision point. Our NSFW Index is built from those two episodes, so the page for any series tells you how far they go before you spend a token. The first NSFW episode table lists every series, and the most explicit chart shows which ones get there fastest.
Spicy series are the exception: they sit inside candy.ai, need Premium, and show guests only blurred posters. Our Spicy guide explains what you can and cannot see before paying.
What the free route cannot show you
The free pair cannot show episodes 3 and later, the Spicy shelf or any price you do not see as a guest, such as token packs and Premium Plus. It also cannot tell you whether Premium opens more Shorts episodes without spending tokens, which is the one question we could not verify without an account. If that matters to you, budget with the token route and treat any saving as a bonus.
Who do you contact when something goes wrong?
Billing problems go to support@candymail.ai, and the official answers live in the help center (everai.zendesk.com). That address appears in the candyshorts.com legal information, and the help center holds the articles on cancelling, refunds and tokens.
Keep your emails short and give the agent what they need: your account email, the date and amount of the charge, what you want done and which rule you rely on. For a refund, say so in the first line and respect the 24-hour window. EU and UK customers should mention their 14-day withdrawal right on a first purchase.
For anything about this site, such as a mistake in a guide, use the contact page. We cannot see your Candy AI account and cannot change a charge. For what the terms say about content, the NSFW rules guide is the place; the official terms cover the money.
FAQ
Can you trust Candy AI with your card?
It is a payment to a registered Maltese company, EverAI Limited, with a fixed statement name and public refund and cancel rules. Data security and support speed cannot be tested from outside. Pay by card, keep your confirmation and read the rules in the NSFW cost guide before you buy.
What is the EverAI charge on my card statement?
EverAI is the name the help center gives for charges on both checkouts. It covers subscriptions, renewals and token top-ups. If you do not recognize one, look for a receipt email and contact the support desk before disputing it.
Which payment methods are available?
Cards, wallets, crypto and bank transfers, depending on your location, per the help center. The US view lists Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay. The written refund rules speak only of card purchases.
Can I get my money back?
Maybe. Ask support within a day, with no more than 20 tokens spent, and only if you paid by card. EU and UK users also have 14 days to withdraw from a first purchase. Cancelling a plan does not refund it by itself.
How do I cancel Candy AI?
Head to your profile, then Settings, and choose Unsubscribe, the last item on the page. Access runs through the paid term, and plans cannot be paused. Stopping a plan does not return money.
Does Candy AI renew automatically?
Yes. Each plan keeps billing at the price and length you chose until you end it, with taxes possibly extra. The $9.99 opening month of the monthly plan happens once, and later months cost $13.99.
Will the charge show Candy AI on my bank statement?
The line reads EverAI, not Candy AI or a series title. Your bank may add text around it, and we cannot see what yours prints. For discretion, use a card only you read and an email only you check.
What happens to my tokens if I cancel?
Official pages contradict each other here. The terms expire tokens when your paid period runs out following cancellation, yet one help article says they stay. Use what you want before the term runs out, and put questions about a large balance to support in writing.
Is paying on candyshorts.com the same as on candy.ai?
The firm and the plan prices are the same, yet the candyshorts.com storefront follows its own terms. Guests have to register on Candy.ai in about seven days, otherwise the plan is cancelled. Refunds there are rare.
Can I avoid paying and still watch?
Within limits, yes. The first two episodes of public series are free and need no login. From episode 3 you pay, and Spicy series require Premium inside candy.ai.
